The latest pendant in the 'scrap metal' series. This piece is also made out of leftover copper, sterling silver and new bezel wire, featuring a long oval Tiger's-Eye cabochon.

Hand stamped, pierced and sawn copper and sterling silver. Reversible, I designed both sides of this pendant. The pendant hangs from a 32" long antique finished sterling silver chain with a lobster clasp.

Total pendant length is about 2 3/4" long. Tiger's-Eye cabochon stone length that is visible on this piece is 1 3/4" long, top to bottom.

-----------------------

Tiger's-eye has been highly regarded throughout history as a protective stone against ill wishes and curses. Tiger's-eye has been used by various ancient civilizations to bring strength and protection, promote mental clarity, and helps harness courage and wisdom in decision making and risk taking. An all-seeing all-knowing tiger's-eye talisman like this one might be just the thing to help those trying to reach a seemingly elusive goal during these trying times.

Time, money and resources may be scarcer than ever in the time of Corona but I still see people everywhere in my community creating beautiful things out of what is on hand. Here is my take on that. It's time for the overlooked mangled metal and rough rocks in my scrap pile to shine.
