Second larger sister to the original 'Scrap Pile' pendant. This piece is also made out of leftover copper, sterling silver and new bezel wire.
This one has a larger, more uniformly shaped stone. Celestial shapes have been hand sawed on front and back. Reversible, I designed both sides of the pendant in case it flips while wearing. Antique finished.
Total pendant length is about 2 1/2" long. Cab stone length on this one is 1 1/2" long, top to bottom. Hangs on an 18" Sterling Silver 1 mm unseamed snake chain. The bail is large enough to accomodate most chains, this pendant would also look amazing on a longer chain.
Time, money and resources may be scarcer than ever in the time of Corona but I still see people everywhere in my community creating beautiful things out of what is on hand. Here is my take on that. It's time for the overlooked mangled metal and rough rocks in my scrap pile to shine.
Said to be a stone of transformation, a labradorite amulet like this one might be just the bit of charm needed in these times of transition we are all going through.
